The association "Digitale Kultur e.V." (Digital Culture) aims at supporting the demoscene (what is the demoscene?) with a special focus on activities in Germany.

In addition to already established events like Evoke Digitale Kultur e.V. is also looking forward to present educational (informative) activities, exhibitions and trips to demoscene related events.

Becoming a member

To become a member of "Digitale Kultur e.V." please fill out this  membership application form and send it to given adress. Please inform yourself about the articles of association before you do so.

Information about membership application for non german applicants

Non german applicants can only join as benefactorial members. This is due to a decision taken by the executive committee. If the amount of non german and therefore probably not general meeting attending people becomes to high the possibility exists that the association is no longer able to make decisions or form a quorum (Article 8.5). Therefore, if you want to join Digitale Kultur e.V. as supporter of its cause, please feel free to join as a benefactorial member.

Breakpoint 2008

This years Breakpoint will take place in Bingen am Rhein from the 21st to 24th of March. Located directly at the lovely river Rhine, the biggest Demoscene-Event of the world is looking forward to welcome an attendence of over one thousand people. Breakpoint 2008 will be the first Demoscene-Event presenting all the realtime and animation entries on a stunning FullHD screen - over seventy square meters of digital art.

Annual report 2006

2006 was a successful year, clearly defined objectives specified the associations activities. Our projects during 2006 garnered a lot of media appearences, the association was involved in print, radio and TV segments about the demoscene.

25th Anniversary of the Commodore C64

Commodore Gaming and Digitale Kultur invite you to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Commodore C64 at the Commodore Gaming booth at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The event is held from the 22nd to the 26th of August 2007, during which Digitale Kultur, together with Commodore Gaming will present the very best of 25 years of the demoscene on the Commodore C64.
