From August 21 to 23, 2026, more than 500 international digital artists will transform Cologne’s AbenteuerHallenKALK into a hub for digital aesthetics. Evoke 2026 brings creative code, spectacular real-time graphics, and electronic music together under one roof. The festival kicks off with the world’s first demoscene drone show competition.

From August 15-17, 2025, the AbenteuerHallenKALK in Cologne will serve as the epicenter of the international "demoscene." At the 26th edition of Evoke, the traditional festival for digital art and culture, around 500 demo artists from around the world will present their latest audiovisual works – a vibrant tradition recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

From 16 to 18 August 2024 the international demoscene will meet for the 25th edition of Evoke, the festival for digital art and culture in Cologne, Germany. In the AbenteuerHallenKALK location, up to 500 artists from all over the world will be presenting new audiovisual productions to mark the anniversary. The demoscene and its works have been recognised as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO since 2021.
